Here, I will put the things that I find them interesting to me and I think might be interesting for the others.

  • 14-09-2011: When I was at the Institute of Network Coding in CUHK, I gave a talk about the capacity of noncoherent network coding. You may watch it from here. The slides of the talk are also available here.
  • 16-08-2011: The Canon 24-105 L series lens; a well done job!
  • 19-04-2011: Our paper named “Group secret key agreement over state-dependent wireless broadcast channels” got accepted to be presented in ISIT’11.
  • 08-04-2011: I am just done with the ISIT 2011 conference reviews! For this year, I have reviewed 6 papers – received one of them after the due time for the reviews!
  • 25-03-2011: Now you may download Firefox 4, claimed to be 6x faster than before, from here!
  • 24-03-2011: I have started watching the “Earth Planet”, a television series produced by the BBC Natural History Unit in 2006. I have watched two episode till now and I should say that it is absolutely fantastic! It seems that this is the first nature documentary filmed in high definition (HD).   • 16-03-2011: Last Friday, we went to Zuric to visit the branch of Google there. I hope that I’ll write a few words about this visit.
  • 05-03-2011: Finally, I have set up a small home server to have some fun with! More importantly, I have installed openvpn on my server. This is a nice open source application that everyone can install on their own computer in order to help others to bypass filtering!
  • 28-02-2011: Two or three days ago Apple updates its Mac Book Pro laptops. I was very lucky because I wanted to buy one of the old Mac Book Pro! The new update seems to be a huge improvement over the old ones. I have ordered a 13″ Mac Book Pro with a dual core i7 processor, 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM from Neptun. I am waiting impatiently to see this little beautiful gadget!
  • 20-02-2011: Last night I watched  The Social Network directed by David Fincher and I liked it very much.
  • 17-03-2010: Again found by Amin, Cargo Cult Science is talk given by Richard Feynman. Although I am not completely agree with all he said, it is nice to read it.
  • 18-01-2009: You and your research was a talk given by Richard Hamming at Bell lab. It might be interesting.
  • 30-12-2008: “Psychology and Culture” is a series of talk given by Dr. Tuserkani in Tehran University. You may find more information about these sessions in the wiki page.
  • 14-08-2008: It is nice to read the experience of a mathematician about time management.
  • 06-05-2008: If you are interested in running an operating system inside another one, VirtualBox is a free solution which works quite well.
